“Fixing Incus” is a VR demo by Nick LaMartina, featuring RealSpace 3D Audio. The demo provides a quick glimpse into a mysterious sci-fi themed installation where characters clad in futuristic environmental suits attempt to repair you, the robot Incus. Journey through this other-worldly compound in Virtual Reality (with an Oculus DK2 and Headphones) as you marvel at the beautiful environments and perfectly rendered 3D audio!
Setup Instructions
1. Download Fixing Incus to your PC.
2. Unzip the game files and place in a directory of your choice.
3. Install the latest Oculus runtime version
4. Double-click on the Fixing Incus .exe while holding down the left Shift key.
5. Select 1920x1080 from the drop-down box for resolution, ensure that the correct display is selected for your DK2 and select your target quality. (we recommend "beautiful")
6. Sit back and enjoy the ride!
Minimum Requirements
Oculus Runtime 0.8.0
Graphics Card (GPU)- NVIDIA GTX 970 or AMD 290 equivalent or greater
Processor (CPU)- Intel i5-4590 equivalent or greater
Memory (RAM)- 8GB+ RAM
Video Output- HDMI 1.3 video output
USB ports- 3x USB 3.0 ports and 1x USB 2.0 port
Operating System- Windows 7 64-bit (Service Pack 1) or newer
Playing Instructions
ESC- end Fixing Incus
SPACEBAR- reset Fixing Incus and the DK2 head-tracking from the start (this occasionally crashes the demo, just start it over)
ENTER- start Fixing Incus
RIGHT CTRL- bring up command list (only works after intro sequence is finished)
